ABOUT OUR GUEST

Dennis Hiebert is professor of sociology at Providence, a Christian university located near Winnipeg in the Canadian province of Manitoba.

His teaching covers all aspects of sociology, from micro-level interpersonal relations to macro-level global relations, with the aim of demonstrating how cultural and social factors beyond psychology and biology shape who we are.

Dennis’s also serves as the editor of the Journal of Sociology and Christianity, and will edit the forthcoming Routledge International Handbook of Sociology and Christianity.
